Animal Exploration with the Two year old Class

The first small group in the light and shadow atelier included Royal, Elise, Hazel, Ian, Everett, and Jacob.  They saw the baby elephant getting a bath and Elise created baby elephant noises with a plastic funnel that she found on the shelf.

img_9758 Children layered light and shadow over the projected videos of elephants, hot lava, and a gorilla documentary.

 img_9771 Ian created a sculpture using small logs to get away from the hot lava.

img_9748 img_9735 The PreK class watched the baby elephant from the other side of the screen during their snack!img_9789The second group of children included Maizy, Geneva, Austin, Reed, and Theo.  They were very focused on the Gorillas and their actions and soon created trees to hide in.
