Mail!
We began our week finding out what The Bee Group wanted to know about the post office and we put stamps on our envelopes to send home. Friends had many questions:
“Do the people work at night?” -Thais
“How do they know where to put the mail?” -Hugo
“Does the postmaster have a daughter?” -Casandra

The mail machine was the most exciting part of the tour. After we mailed our letters we reflected on our experience by drawing pictures in our journal.
Thank you, Steven!
Evan’s dad, Steven, was our classroom musician for our good morning songs.
Inventing a Word
As 4 and 5 year olds become more familiar with letters and their sounds, they often play with the sounds by creating words. Rowan uses scrabble letters to create the longest word. His friends join in for the fun. With each letter the word becomes longer and sillier.
