Zoo Adventures

         Zoo Adventures

Animals in the two’s class are no strangers. We are using our imagination to be loin, tigers, zebras, and monkeys on a daily basis. Countless number of books about our animal friends get read all day and every school day. A few of our final choices for our classroom names were little cubs, pandas, lemurs, loins. It’s all about animals with these guys. The dialogue from when we first started talking about animals to recently have increased in so many ways. We are recognizing different animals, colors of the animals, sounds animal makes, and food animals eats. Through this journey this have brought us closer as teacher and student relationship and it has brought the children closer to each other. It is not rare to found a herd of bears or loins running around the classroom or the playground.   We have done many provocation and countless conversations but nothing matches face to face interactions. The two’s teachers decided that it was time to plan an well anticipated trip to see our friends. So here are a few moments of our zoo adventure.

The zoo was an amazing adventure. We had a chance to see the animals in their natural habits. It was amazing to see how their work over the pervious weeks was related to each animal they saw. Plenty of smiles, impressions, and laughter was given through out the adventure. It was great to see our work come to life.
