A Giant Rainbow

Today our classroom welcomed a giant wooden rainbow! In the morning, colored blocks were matched up to each stripe. A pumpkin even made it way onto the orange! Later in the morning, the rainbow followed us into the sunshine. We searched for leaves across the ground and held them up to the rainbow.
                                         “Where does this leaf go?”
… the teacher asked. The children gathered around, arriving with a new leaf to test every time. We used our words and our eyes to explore color all morning. In the following days, we will begin to collage our leaves onto the rainbow.
                                           Do you have any amazing leaves from home?
