An Autumn Rainbow
As Autumn begins, the leaves fall around us and parcel out color in patches of yellows, oranges, reds, and browns. With a general classroom appreciation for rainbows, we decided to see what color leaves matched the rainbow and began collecting them to create our own “Autumn rainbow.” The children picked up one leaf at a time, holding them up to the rainbow and comparing what they saw. A tiny finger landed on different stripe of the rainbow each time.
Was the color the same? Did it match?
