What a week! What a wonderful week! The sun returned! We listened to amazing performances from the preschool! We caught so many more ladybugs to observe! We made music and danced … a lot! And we continued to explore bears!
With a rainy start to the week, we used all our energy indoors by drumming as a group, counting the beats, and going fast and slow. Before long we all had instruments and danced around the classroom!
We are dancing sooo slow!
Faster! Faster!
We are dancing so fast!!
Freeze! We are all statues!
When the music starts, you will turn back into dancers.
What shape will this stamp make?
For a few mornings, we explored stamping and found that it was a great way to practice sharing the stamp pads.
On Wednesday, the preschool treated us to their rendition of a rainbow song. We all sat amazed with listening ears! They performed it 4 times, getting even better each time! What an amazing audience we were!
They returned in the afternoon to share a bear story and diorama set to classical music! Again, the children sat with wide eyes and loved it!
With the sun returning, so did the ladybugs. After spotting them in the front of building, we returned with our big mason jar to collect them. We found so many!!
With bears this week, we started reading a new book Bear Snores On and worked on our outdoor bear cave. Later in the week, we explored the different colors that bears can be and worked on paintings inspired by the colors.
See you all next week!!
