Our next field trip date is set for Thursday, December 10th. Parent volunteers are welcome. We would like to have 1 adult for every 2 children but more is always better. So far we have 5 Willow School staff members coming along including Jermaine and Natalie and three parents have volunteered. We have 19 children in our class. Please be sure to dress your child for the weather. VERY IMPORTANT: Please pack a brown bag lunch for your child. NO NUTS!!! We will need to leave the school at 9:15 in order to get to the Westin to visit the Sundial Restaurant before the 11:30 lunch hour. We will need to return by 1:15 for rest time. The children are free to tour at no charge but there is an 8 dollar charge for adults. The MARTA fare is also free for children and adults will need to pay their fare. The children are really looking forward to this trip!
A big giant thank you to: Max’s Mom, Katie and Harper’s mom, Liza and Sam’s mom, Amy and Asher’s Grandma and Ms. Keli!!! Your presence was truly appreciated and we are so happy you could share the joy of traveling with our preschool friends. The pizza party today was amazing and we had a gluten free and dairy free option as well. The children also enjoyed fresh fruits and vegetables, which they chopped and prepared for everyone. The pomegranate seeds were the biggest hit and we have plenty of dry goods left from our shopping trip to keep the food prep going for this month.
