The Wylde Center
One of our continuous adventures we take as a class is a trip to the Wylde Center. The Wylde center is a place where we explore nature, expand our imagination, and enjoy the beauty of being outside in great weather. The Wylde Center has a pond, chicken coop, creek, an awesome garden, and a pathway to explore the center. One of the most popular areas of the center is the play area. The play area consist of a sand box, a reading area, and a cob house, made out of clay and sand that has hardened to become a sturdy, hard structure.
The Wylde Center is consider our second classroom. The center is also a place where we develop threads of interest that the children have. We build on new knowledge in the classroom using these threads.
Here are a few picture of us exploring The Wylde Center.

The chickens are back. Can we feed them?

Can we push her together?

Ms Nicole reads to the children from the free library located in the center.
