Friday- We have continued following the children’s interest in fairy boats. Keoki brought in a couple of origami fairy boats from home. While outside we looked for nature items that we could use to make fairy boats. Ms. Julia introduced glue guns to the class and discussed the importance of being safe while using them. Children were really engaged in using the glue guns to create their fairy boats. There was a container of water in the sink for friends to test and see if their boats floated. Some floated while others tipped over. Keoki wanted to try to make an origami fairy boat so Ms. Faith found an instructional video for Keoki to follow.
