Felix, Ella, and Carolyn walked with Ms. Mary while Oscar, Elias, and Lucas walked hand in hand with Ms. Shannon. Benjamin, Nora, Finley, and Thomas rode in Brandi’s stroller and Dakota, Emilia, Finn, and Clara rode in Ms. Amy’s stroller. It must have been quite the sight to see such beautiful children strolling by!
The entire walk to the bakery we all chanted “Bao, Bao, Bao!” We finally made it to our destination and watched the trucks, trains, and cars pass and mimicked each sound while we waited for our bread to be delivered. The bread came and everyone exclaimed “Bao”!
We munched on sour dough bread and watched more trains and trucks pass. On the way home we chanted “Bye,Bye,Boa!” and came back just in time for some play and Lunch.
Thanks Elias, for teaching us the Mandarin word for bread! It’s amazing how one learning moment in school can lead to such a special day.
