Josh Misko is an American songwriter, producer, and entertainment entrepreneur. He is a core member of Nashville-based country music band, Timothy James, which is published by Cutcraft Music Group and administered by Concord Music Publishing. As a recording artist, Misko has experience ranging from in-studio sessions with producers and engineers like Shel Talmy, Johnny Lee Schell, and Jack Joseph Puig, to directly supporting acts such as Air Supply, The Wailers, G. Love and Special Sauce, Lucero, and more. In 2020, Josh co-produced The Superstones hit single, “I Found Myself,” which has garnered tens of millions of plays on social platforms like TikTok and Spotify, and is currently airing on major radio and television stations nationally and internationally.
In 2020 Josh co-invented the Switchlock, an accessory designed to solve the age-old problem of unintentionally bumping the pickup switch out of position on an electric guitar. Since it’s rollout, the Switchlock has helped thousands of guitar players solve this common frustration all over the world. In 2021, Josh co-founded Incubate Talent Group (ITG) – a full-service artist management firm based in Nashville, Tennessee. Today, Misko applies his business skills as CEO of Incubate Talent Group, and as a territorial booking agent and talent buyer for Turnipblood Entertainment.
Misko attended Musician’s Institute in Los Angeles, California from 2009 to 2011, where he studied the arts of vocal performance, guitar playing, and music business. He is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Oregon State University, double majoring in digital marketing analytics and business administration. As an educator, Josh teaches guitar and ukulele at the Willow School in Decatur, GA.
