Melissa Godbee, is a Chicago native and married mother of four. Since moving to Atlanta in 2008, Melissa has performed with regional companies in the Southeast and the world-renowned Atlanta Opera. With a passion for music and performance, she cherishes opportunities to help cultivate that same love of the arts in others. Melissa holds a Bachelor’s of Arts degree, from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University. After moving to Atlanta, Mrs. Godbee received a graduate assistantship at Georgia State University where she completed her Masters in Music. She has worked in an Administrative capacity for 18 years. She began working at the Willow School in 2019, in an Administrative role. Today she is an active member of the Atlanta Opera Chorus, performs with Capital City Opera, and is our Enrollment and Family Engagement Coordinator. In addition, 3 of her four children have matriculated through Willow!
