My name is Ms. Alexis, and I am the teacher of the Forest Classroom. I am a mother of three, a passionate educator, and a lifelong nature enthusiast. I believe children learn best through curiosity, meaningful relationships, and hands-on exploration.
Inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, I strive to create a classroom where every child feels seen, respected, and encouraged to discover the world around them. Whether we’re exploring the forest, creating with natural materials, or asking big questions, my goal is to nurture confident, compassionate, and curious learners.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy hiking, gardening, exploring local parks and trails, and connecting with my community. I look forward to partnering with your family as we learn, grow, and explore together this school year!
